HIS MORE THAN ENOUGH IS BETTER THAN OUR NOT ENOUGH
Dear Partner,
What we try to do apart from God and His help will never be enough. Have faith in God and know that He WILL provide. God is faithful and He will NEVER take back a single word that He said. Take God’s WORD for it as He said it himself in Psalm 89:34 NLT which says......”No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said.”
Jesus is our source and supply. We can’t get around that and no one should ever want to. HE is the one that’s going to help you. HE is the one we must RUN TO. What you try to do and make happen in your own ability won’t be enough. Yet, our Heavenly Father God has promised us MORE than enough. That’s right, MORE than what you “need.” Because He loves us and He BLESSES us so that we can take care of our business and then go and feed that family down the street, or pay off someone’s house, or buy that family’s groceries at the store, or pay for someone’s gas at the gas station. This is the life of OVERFLOW. This is the God that we serve. His “more than enough” is better than our “not enough.”
You’re reading this right now KNOWING that you can not do it alone. You may feel as if you’re currently living in a state of “not enough,” not enough money to pay the bills, not enough time to help others, not enough time to read the Bible and spend time with God and so on. However, that last phrase is the MOST important one, “read the Bible and spend time with God. When we MAKE time for God, the door is now open for Him to show us how much time we actually DO have and because He loves us, He will graciously show us how to better balance our lives and get the most out of “time.”
We’ve all been there at some point, we’ll spend countless hours watching tv, Netflix, Hulu, video games, hunting etc, and yet feel as if we don’t have time to stop, pray, cry out to God and spend QUALITY FOCUSED time with Him. You see, the devil would love for us to believe that LIE. And yes that’s exactly what it is, a lie.
Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoy spending time in such things myself, but God must be FIRST in our lives. I rather live a life of making God first in my thoughts, heart, words and actions instead of living a “busy” life and never satisfy that “itch” of spending time with my Heavenly Father. But it is much more than a itch. Because here is the truth, once we make time for God and allow Him to show us how to better balance our daily lives, He’ll then show us what time he has permitted for us to enjoy ourselves in other things as well, and trust me, you just may be shocked once you come to realize how much time is available that you didn’t think you had. And when you actually do get quality, alone, focused time with God, you wouldn’t want to do anything else!! Haha. There is absolutely nothing greater than being saved and being in the presence of the creator of heaven and earth!
Take this into consideration of making time for God.
Have to get up early for work? Don’t be up all night. Wake up thirty minutes earlier to read your Bible each day.
Do you drive to work? Instead of listening to the radio, use that drive-time to talk to God, pray, and listen for His voice.
Jesus is our eternal fountain of life. And when we make time for God we will then EXPERIENCE things working out for our good! (We can’t experience that if He’s not first).
Whether you need friends, joy, a spouse, money, promotion, help, change, etc, IT WILL BE PROVIDED FROM OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. We must start with knowing WHERE the help is going to come from (Him) and then put Him first place in our lives and then KEEP Him first place.
I say it all the time and I’ll say it again, God is FAITHFUL!! Take time to read and meditate on these verse. Read them, think about them, and then ask God “Now how do these verses apply to my life? What can I do about them? What does this mean for me?”
Trust and know that He will speak to you.
In John 10:27 Jesus said himself......
27 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,
29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.”
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 KJV
To set high standards for someone else, and then not live up to them yourself, is something that God truly hates. But it pleases him when we apply the right standards of measurement. Proverbs 11:1 TPT
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:33-34 NLT
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
1 Peter 5:7 NLT
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 KJV
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation 3:20 NLT
All things are possible if a person believes!
